POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS

If you are interested in a post-doc position please send a cover letter describing your past research, your future goals, and why you would like to join the Bertholet lab, curriculum vitae, and names/contact information for three references to (abertholet@mednet.ucla.edu).

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• PhD in a Biological or Physics Discipline
• Ability to work in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment
• Desire to conduct cutting-edge mitochondrial biology research
• Motivation to become proficient in electrophysiology, mitochondria, cell metabolism, proximity-labeling mass spectrometry approach (if not already competent in these areas).

Applicants must be highly motivated and have a strong research record as evidenced by publications in quality international journals. Applicants must be motivated to obtain fellowships to support their work at UCLA.

If you are looking for a graduate student position in our lab and are not currently at UCLA, you will need to apply to the UCLA Graduate Programs in Bioscience (GPB).
